Our Story

From farming
into fuel.

We come from an agricultural family. When LPG bottling opened to private operators we went into it, first as Vindhya Gas and later as M K Gastech — and thirty years on, we are still bottling in Palakkad.

01 — Where we come from

A farming family that went into gas

M K Gastech comes from a farming family. The group still farms and runs other businesses alongside the bottling plants.

India's Parallel Marketing Scheme opened LPG to private operators in 1993. Supply in Kerala was behind demand at the time, and in 1995 the group began bottling as Vindhya Gas Private Limited, founded by Davis Manuel.

M K Gastech Private Limited was incorporated in 2005. Its first plant at Vannamada began operating in 2007, and Manuel Davis took charge as Managing Director in 2017. A second plant at Moongilmada opened in 2024, running entirely on solar power.

The company bottles under contract for Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited and TotalEnergies.

03 — Where we are going

Off the grid by 2030

2030Target

100% renewable energy across every unit

Unit 2 at Moongilmada has run entirely on solar power since it opened in 2024. Our aim is for every unit to run on renewable energy by 2030, and to keep the environmental footprint of the plants as small as we can while we get there.
